  DIY DONE RIGHT

Owning a car is one of life’s major expenses and when maintenance is required it can lead to spending hundreds of dollars, but there is an alternative, and Supercheap Auto has come to the rescue by providing customers with comprehensive DIY guides.

The guides, available in-store and online, offer suggestions on how to do basic car maintenance services including changing engine oil, jumpstarting a car and changing brake pads, all relatively simple applications that can cost a small fortune at a regular mechanic.

The fellas reckon you can save up to $80 an hour in labour for changing brake pads on an average sedan and over $40 just for the oil (Hey, we’re in the wrong business!), not to mention saving the hassle of dropping off and picking up the vehicle.

Says Supercheap Auto’s Chief Operating Officer Mr David Ajala, “Understanding and maintaining your car can help keep it running smoothly for longer and save the average household considerable money”.
“The DIY guides are aimed at empowering consumers with the knowledge to do it themselves; just another avenue Supercheap Auto has taken to ensure our customers are satisfied by providing automotive solutions and not just affordable products.

“At Supercheap Auto we value our customers and take pride in having the ability to offer more savings in anyway we can.”
