NEW 370Z by BEST CAR?

Category: Latest Rides

Best Car the Japanese magazine have always been the ones to release spy shots or the creation of renders of upcoming cars. Instead of publishing more renderings this time Best Car went ahead and done a 1:1 scale replica of what is soon to be seen as the 2009 Nissan 370Z. Based on the 350Z, Best Car have commissioned Mad House in Shizuoka in the creation of the new 370Z. Built with a custom fibreglass body kit for both front and rear ends the coupe was almost complete as till they worked towards replicating the 370Z headlights. Since creating the headlights was too much of a task a simple Mad House alternative took place where we now see a completed 2009 370Z replica with the headlights converted with custom-made vinyl stickers!

TOYOBARU 2011 RWD COUPE RENDERING

Category: HotwwwShizzle

Not long ago, Toyota and Subaru have officially announced the co-development of an all-new RWD coupe. The only images we've ever seen of this car were the supposed spy shots of Subaru's variant of the compact sports coupe. With no details and hints of the Toyota version, a reader of Car scoop has scanned in a rendering from a Japanese car magazine of which may be the forthcoming Toyota Rear Wheel Drive Coupe. The artist's impression of the coupe sports very Lexus like styling, but from what we can see here is probably as far as we'd go to hearing about any news about the car hitting our shores as Toyota has announced earlier that it will only be a Japan exclusive.

TOYOTA TRIMS PRODUCTION AMID SALES SLUMP

Category: HotwwwShizzle
Posted: 2008-06-19 23:10

Toyota Motors from the US are limiting their production of its full-size pickup trucks further this year as record gasoline prices have depressed sales of gas-hungry trucks and SUVs. Leaving Toyota little choice but to slow production of its Tundra model. Toyota's brand new plant in San Antonio that was built just for the Tundra will be shutting down a total of 14 days between now and October. Full-time workers at the plant will be able to use vacation days, take the time off unpaid or find something else at the plant to do while the assembly line is halted.

Unfortunately, temp-to-hire workers aren't so lucky. Two-hundred employees who were hoping to land full-time positions at the plant will be laid off this summer.
