TOYOTA AURION TRD

Ever since the spy shots back in May 2007 we've been waiting eagerly for the final release to surface.
Well, to our surprise Toyota has just Officially launched the long-awaited TRD Aurion. As a fact
TRD-editions of existing Toyota vehicles have been available in many markets over the years, the TRD Aurion is the first vehicle worldwide to be sold as a TRD -- now established as a new, separate brand under Toyota, yes they finally get their very own performance sports brand for mass distrubution.

The Toyota Aurion TRD may seem like an upgrade to the Aurion Sportivo as for it's equipment, appearance and performance, but the TRD Aurion's greatest asset is its Eaton TVS (Twin Vortices Series) Supercharger, which will be leave this to be Toyotas first production car of the sort.
It's equipped with a supercharged 3.5L V6 engine producing 329 Hp (241 kw) and 400 Nm (295lb-ft) of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift. The front-wheel drive Aurion TRD sprints from 0 to 100km/h (62 mph) in 6.1 seconds while its top speed is electronically limited to a maximum of 250km/h (155 mph). Supercharged engine aside, all the Aurion TRD's get a full bodykit, special badging, revised suspension and brake systems together with the sports interior as seen from the previous spyshots.
