It seems of late Mazda’s design team has been busy spitting out more concept cars than actual production vehicles, with its latest this very spacey (in both senses) Nagare (na-ga-reh) concept. There’s a whole bunch of nonsense in the press release about ‘natural flow’ and ‘visions of atmospheric light’ and what have you, including something about “the emotion of motion in new surface language” – something I’ll be sure to specify to the dealer when looking for a new ride… The guys at Mazda hope to see something like this on the prowl around 2020 in most likely a hydrogen rotary-powered form, with LED lights all around and crazy double-length doors to allow easy access to the rather interesting seating arrangement inside. Of course, Mazda is no stranger to unique seating, as the RX-8 and CX-7 will attest… We’re massive fans of those wheels, though.
