Race; The Official Wtcc game - To start things up this game is awesome! Though having so many racing simulations out there Race has its own unique standing points. The games graphics are nice and sounds are excellent by this I am referring to the engine noises more so than the audio tracks. The audio may even be better than the visuals, the car sounds are spectacular. Where as the music isn't my taste. The car's audio was all recorded from the originals therefore pulling off the most realistic feeling.Back to the graphics the introduction video to the game is excellent, so good I sat n’ just stared at the screen (attempted a no blinking record there) anyways whilst having eyes glued to the screen for the first 5 minutes, this soon wore off when I came to the menu. This is the second part where you will probably have to move back a little bit and adjust yourself to check out the amazing modeling of the vehicles from interior to exterior.
The game includes some very detailed models and texturing of the cars is not left behind with each and every car with more than one design of decal sets to relate back to the different teams. Something’s we can’t leave behind as for aesthetic reasons are the interiors these are seen when you choose the particular views when racing probably on of the only games including the drivers hands on the steering I was impressed. Rolling along we'll talk about the tracks. These were created in high detail and also very well constructed to create realism, again for those ‘kiddies’ out there who seem to like fireworks and all kind of who knows what the.. going on in the backgrounds where blinding neons flash at ya through out the race then Race isn’t for you. That being said it’s again quite obvious realism was the key to this game one of the positives sides to it from my perspective with all real tracks it all pulls off nicely.

Finally I felt the car selection was at a minimum but that’s truly a good thing for the realism factor, but for those who like broad selections and customization options then this game also isn't for you. On the other hand for those who tend to like the realism part with all the handling of the vehicles made to be as accurate as can be for a computer format then this game can give the most amazing game play experience for those reasons? As said this is a Pc based game an can be ordered via Steam with that being said online features are obviously available and I took my cars out for a run on the online arena things didn't turn out so great in the end but it was the journey that counts and I had much fun going from the start to the finish on my bumpy Caterham Ride.
