hey ppl i just got a 94 camry its got the 2.2l 4 in it an wanna get sme go out of her she rides very good an drives great it is an auto an i wanna keep it that way as i drive trucks all day an the last thing i wanna do is change gears on the way home.

my question is wether or not 2 do up the current engine or swap it 4 somethin betta the engine has great tourqe from from low 2 mid rev rangebut looses it over about 4.5 - 5 grand rpm

is there any reports from these engines or would it b betta 2 swap it
4 a celica motor, apparantly the gt4 driveline will bolt in without 2 many dramas lol but not 2 sure about it

any info would b great

My mate has the same car and is looking to mod the existing motor
he has started with the intake and is working on a few other mods
keep you posted on how its goin

Ive heard good things about the celica gt4 motor

Selling the car and go to an automatic S13 with the SR20DE is a good start. Those Camry engines are made just for low down torque and fuel economy. To get any power out of it is a waste of time/money.

if u want to mod the Camry the usual intake and exhaust would make it go a bit quicker
but an s13 would be a much better choice if u want power

why not have a loot at the Toyota blit
It is a Camry styled wagon but it is rear wheel drive and has a 1uz motor in it
