Wheels/Tyres For Suzuki Ignis

Hey guys,
I currently own an 02 Suzuki Ignis and I was wondering what the best size rims would be for it. Its currently sitting on 14" with a completely srock suspension setup. I was thinking maybe 15's or possibly 16". Would they fit or would i have to run really low profile tyres and modify the wheel guards to fit? Any help is appreciated.

i am in newcastle, nsw, and still deciding whether i want to upgrade the wheels as it is my learners car and a cheap runaround until i can afford a bigger, newer car. what do the rims look like, maybe u could post a few pics? Thanks for ur help anywayz.

16" would suit the ignis nicely 17" would be on borderline. importing rims to brisbane in the new year if your interested let me know?
