race seats..help

hi im in nsw and looking at replacing my front seats with some race seats, does anybody know how much it costs to get an engeneers cert for this, i am buying new seats and rails and getting them installed professionally so i am now worried about it failing but just wondering as to wether anybody knows the rules with the race seats?

Mate the best thing is to roll down to your closest cop shop or government sight n look up what the rules are or just go to a dealership say toyota n ask to speek to there head mechanic n see what he/she says on the road worthy of the new seats/car.
Dont want you to be quoted something then find out its the wrong price.
