Hello all. For anybody who doesn't know me I'm on an old-skooler from the old forum. For those that do know me, you're all gay .

Ok, sometime next year after I return to Oz I will be in the market for a new car and I am seriously considering the stupid idea of buying a little baby godzilla. Can anybody provide any valid reasoning why this might be a bad idea.

Some info:
I will be 28 and have a rating 1 so insurance isn't as scary as it could be. My budget will be around $13000 and I only have myself and my wife to drive around so 2 doors are fine. I'm not your regular car freak, I just enjoy driving so I'm not even looking for something heavily modified, just fun.

Any reasons at all?
Lack of reliability?
Don't live up to expectations?
Don't increase my e-penis size?

hey my partner has one and theyre great little cars.
goes like no tommorrow.!!
not the best turning circle in them but thats about it.
Hes looking at selling it if your interested!!

Hey mate i have a few friends with a GTIR, and i reckon if you want a small hatch but still like having a nice respectable car then they're the best. If i wasnt still on my P's i would've bought the GTIR but i bought the SSS instead and i'll end up just converting it cause its cheaper for me to do it that way lol

But i say go for it! I haven't heard anything bad about them, i mean they have the SR20 which is pretty much the most reliable engine on the bloody planet, 4WD, Turbo and are small enough to not be a pain in the ass to drive like some other turbo cars!

I say DO IT!
