Ok, deal goes:
already got good head unit but speakers are average.
now, I want sound quality (primary) but wouldn't mind some bass if possible.
Budget $1200 inc. install.
Thinking 6" splits in the front doors (means I don't need to go cutting up panels), keeping the standard speakers in the rear doors and then if funds permit, a sub/amp in the cargo area.
is it possible to do it for this price? decent splits are around $500 yeh?
any suggestions would be awesome

Yea you can afford that easy! Nah you can get quality splits for $200 - $250 if you look around. Good monoblock amp $300, good sub in a box $350, cables $100. You could then even replace your rear speakers. Do the install your self and save money, it really isnt hard at all especially if you already have a headeck installed because thats the only hard part!
