sub problem

Help... today i installed my sub and amp, its not working, i hav power to the amp and the sub apperes to be working but its almost impossible to workout if it is or not, i can only tell as it is vibrating slightly

JVC KD-G446
stock front speakers
Kenwood rear 6" speakers
Kicker VC12 sub
Coustic c100 2 channel amp 420watt
cadence wireing kit

here are the steps i went through

unplug the battery
run the power cord through the firewall
set up powercord with fuse 12" down from terminal ( not yet connected to battery)
connected RCA cables
Connected remote amp turn on
connected grounding cable
wired sub up
reconnected battery

whats the problem??? why is this problem happening??? is it a setting with my amp or headunit i had a speaker level input leftover but i dont think that is necercary

another Question

i bought the cadence amp wireing kit and the speaker cable (blue and silver) is one piece with 2 wires in it, how do i wire it??? it is a 2 channel amp and im not sure how im ment to wire it to the sub!!! plz explane!!! what specificly has to go where???

Have you checked that your ground is getting a good earth try scratching the surface underneath where the ground is connected to the chassis. If not is the ground connected to a part of the vehicle Body or chassis. If not that check the fuse in the power wire under the hood.
Also check your gains and the inputs on your amp, and if not that check the wires inside your sub box.

To answer your next question you should connect the BLUE wire to your negative and the SILVER to your positive. Now your amp seein how it is a 2 ch amp should only have 2 speaker inputs positive and negative tehrefore you just match the wires up like i said before Blue=negative
Silver=positive
